First Berlin pharmacies offer Coronavirus vaccinations

Pharmacies in Berlin are now also participating in the vaccination campaign against Covid-19.

On Tuesday (Feb. 08, 2022) the first ones started to offer vaccinations. The first people already took advantage of this vaccination offer, reported the speaker of the pharmacist association, Stefan Schmidt. However, initially only soe individual pharmacists participated because many others do not yet have suitable rooms. In addition, the demand for vaccinations is limited at the moment. For people who have not yet been reached by other vaccination services, however, vaccination in pharmacies could be a suitable alternative. There are around 800 pharmacies in Berlin.
