Coronavirus incidence over 1800 for the first time

For the first time, the Coronavirus incidence in Berlin has exceeded the 1800 threshold with an incidence of 1803.4 on Friday (Feb. 4, 2022).

17.6 percent of intensive care beds occupied by Covid-19 patients

aAccording to the Senate's Covid situation report, the previous day's incidence was 1790. The figure indicates how many new infections per 100,000 people were reported in the previous seven days. With 13,317 new infections reported, the total number of Coronavirus cases in the capital rose to 584,020. Four additional Covid-19-related deaths were reported. The hospitalization rate also continued to rise and reached a value of 23.4 on Friday. Meanwhile, the occupancy rate of intensive care beds with Covid-19 patients remained relatively unchanged at 17.6 percent.
