The incidence of Coronavirus in Berlin remains high despite the lack of new case numbers.

Missing reports from some districts

In the past seven days, approximately 1821 out of 100,000 people became infected. This is according to data provided by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Monday (Jan. 31, 2022). The previous day, the incidence had been at 1848. According to the RKI, the nationwide is at about 1176. However, reports from almost all districts of Berlin were missing on Monday - only Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf and Reinickendorf had provided new figures.

Hospitalization incidence just under 20

284 new Corona infections were registered in the two districts. The total number of Coronavirus infections in Berlin since the start of the pandemic thus rose to 528,275, with no additional deaths. 4107 deaths related to Corona infections have been counted so far. 18.7 percent of beds in Berlin ICUs are currently occupied by Covid-19 patients. The hospitalization rate was at at 19.9 on Monday.
