Following the renaming of the former Mohrenstraße, Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) is also renaming the associated subway station.
The signs with the new street and station name Anton-Wilhelm-Amo-Straße are to be put up during the break in operations on Wednesday night, according to a BVG spokeswoman. However, they will still refer to the former name until the end of the year. The renaming has already taken place in the BVG's digital journey planner, which also refers to the old street name. When the timetable changes in mid-December, the new name of the station will also be printed in the company's analog information media.
