Due to the big techno parade "Rave the Planet", numerous streets in the Tiergarten area will be closed from Friday evening to Sunday morning.

Drivers must be prepared for detour and traffic jams. There will also be closures at the Olympiastadion this weekend, where the Lollapalooza festival is taking place.

Brandenburg Gate and Bundestag stations likely to be closed

The parade "Rave the Planet", which is registered as a demonstration and not a party, starts on Saturday at 2 p.m. on Straße des 17. Juni between the Großer Stern and the Brandenburg Gate. The Straße des 17. Juni will be closed from Friday evening. The surrounding streets will then be closed from Saturday morning until after midnight. The entire area should be open again from Sunday morning. On Saturday afternoon and evening, the subway stations Brandenburger Tor and Bundestag could also be closed due to the crowds. It was not yet clear whether other stations would be affected.
