Under the motto "Everyone on a bike!", cyclists will be riding a total of 20 routes throughout Berlin on Sunday. There will be closures for car traffic.
The destination of the various routes is the Umweltfestival at the Brandenburg Gate. Participants from all over Europe are expected to take part in the rally.
The Avus (A115) and A100 highways are expected to be closed in both directions between 12 noon and 2:30 p.m. for the rally. This affects the section of the A100 between Oberlandstraße and Dreieck Funkturm as well as the section of the Avus between Kreuz Zehlendorf and Messedamm. The streets Messedamm, Kaiserdamm, Bismarckstraße, Ernst-Reuter-Platz, Straße des 17. Juni, Großer Stern, Hofjägerallee, Klingelhöferstraße, Lützowufer, Schöneberger Ufer and Tempelhofer Ufer will also be closed. Once cyclists have passed through, the sections will be gradually reopened to traffic.
