Women's Day in Berlin

International Women's Day is a public holiday in Berlin. Demonstrations, panel discussions and other events are dedicated to the topics of gender equality, the gender pay gap and women's rights. However, numerous leisure events also take place on the holiday on 8 March - from shows and theater to concerts and comedy.

Frauen*kampftag 2026

The organizers of the "Frauen*kampftag" demonstration see themselves as part of a new feminist movement. They criticize patriarchal structures, a society oriented towards profit maximization and the ideology that every person is the architect of their own happiness. They demand a life without fear, exploitation and oppression.
