Berlin has two airports: Tegel Airport in the northwest of Berlin and Schönefeld Airport on the southern outskirts. A third airport, the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport BER near Schönefeld, is currently being built.
Arrival at Schönefeld Airport
Berlin Schönefeld Airport is located on the southern outskirts of Berlin. From the terminal building it is a ten-minute walk to the Schönefeld train station. From there S-Bahn trains as well as regional trains go directly to the center of Berlin. Schönefeld Airport has a link to highway A113 which leads to the city center.
Arrival at Tegel Airport
Tegel Airport is located in Reinickendorf/Tegel, a district in northwest Berlin. The city center is easy to reach with the TXL Express bus or by car. Tegel Airport has a link to highway A111 (exit Saatwinkler Damm). From the Tegel Airport, the exhibition grounds Messe Berlin is only about six kilometres away.
