Berlin's new central airport, the Airport Berlin Brandenburg "Willy Brandt" (BER), was official opened in 2020 to replaced the former airports Tegel. BER Airport offers direct flight connections to destinations in Germany, Europe and the world.
BER Airport is located on the southern outskirts of Berlin. The terminals are well connected to public transport. From the train station BER Terminal 1/2, S-Bahn trains as well as regional trains depart in short intervals toward the center of Berlin.
