Eva Brunner, born in 1966 in Friesach, Carinthia, studied acting at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and subsequently held multi-year engagements at the municipal theaters in Lübeck, Potsdam, St. Gallen, and Konstanz. She has been a freelance actress since 2006 and lives in Berlin. She has appeared in numerous theater productions throughout the German-speaking world. These include productions in Berlin, Saarbrücken, Hanover, Karlsruhe, the independent theater scene in Switzerland, Paderborn (Audience Award 2021), and Aachen (Kurt Sieder Prize 2026). She has also been directing since 2017.
