WORLD PREMIERE, featuring excerpts from Vivaldi’s ‘Four Seasons’, Renaissance carnival music and improvisations by the Novoflotband.

Building on the traditions of New Orleans’ legendary Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday movement, Novoflot are the initiators and hosts of the founding of several highly musical ‘Magic Societies’, whose unusual and stunning performances herald the carnival of the future. Together with the ensemble dissonArt – a vocal and performance ensemble – soloists from the international jazz scene and musicians from the Berlin scene, a hybrid music theatre production is taking shape, featuring more than 100 performers. Following the first club celebrations in May 2026 at the Greek National Opera in Athens, Novoflot now invites you to ‘Fat Tuesday’ at the Theater im Delphi and welcomes numerous magical allies to gradually craft a new vision of carnival through music-making!

The current production is part of the 16-month cycle Die 5. Jahreszeit and combines contemporary music, jazz, Renaissance carnival music, political speeches and compositions
