A journey into the invisible

Cirque du Soleil's new show depicts a journey into the invisible with a blend of groundbreaking artistry and breathtaking magic, embedded in an adventure that transcends the limits of the imaginable.

Alizé is the 54th original production and the first residency of Cirque du Soleil in Europe, which first set up camp in Germany 30 years ago. Since a new era began in 1995 with Saltimbanco, 16 productions have performed in the Grand Chapiteau or arenas in 16 German cities. Berlin is considered the ideal location for the first permanent Cirque du Soleil show in a European metropolis due to its cosmopolitanism and international appeal. Cirque du Soleil also wants to express its special connection to Berlin.

In this new, innovative creation, in which artistry and magic merge, the protagonists embark on a journey into a surreal world. They try to reveal the invisible and thus discover the hidden magic that lies behind reality. The poetic tour is filled with wonders, riddles and magic. The audience is whisked away to a world where the impossible becomes possible and the hidden reveals its secrets.

Captivating acrobatic performances and magical visualizations dissolve the boundaries between reality and imagination. Alizé celebrates the magic of humanity by immersing the audience in a cosmos full of fantasy and wonder.

The Theater am Potsdamer Platz will be redesigned to meet the unique technical requirements of this permanent production.
