Berlin Burlesque Festival

The Berlin Burlesque Festival is back: three nights filled with glamour, live music, humor, sensuality, and extraordinary stage performances.

As Germany’s first internationally renowned burlesque festival, the BBF has been bringing together newcomers and celebrated stars of the scene since its founding. Each year, a cast is curated from over 500 video submissions from around the world, combining talent, diversity, elegance, skill, and a unique flair.

From Seoul to Berlin, from Toronto to Rome, from São Paulo to the spotlight: International artists from Europe, North America, South America, Australia, and Asia showcase burlesque in all its forms—classic, modern, playful, elegant, political, sexy, and highly professional.

On October 15, “The Grand Opening” kicks off the festival at Heimathafen Neukölln. On October 16, “The Friday Night” follows, also at Heimathafen Neukölln. The glamorous highlight comes on October 17 with “The Saturday Night” at the legendary Wintergarten Varieté. Accompanied by the Sazerac Swingers—the festival’s co-producers and the BBF’s musical signature—an unforgettable live experience emerges, blending jazz, show culture, and the Berlin nightlife. Produced by Marlene von Steenvag, the Empress of Burlesque, the festival stands for freedom, diversity, self-determination, and glamour with attitude.
