Myles Smith: My Mess, My Heart, My Life. Tour

At first glance, Myles Smith’s story sounds like that of many singer-songwriters from the UK: he started singing as a child, taught himself to play the guitar and piano, and began writing his own songs.

As a teenager, he played in pubs to earn some extra pocket money and started an indie band. At first, however, music wasn’t his main career goal, which is why he decided to study sociology and social policy after high school. On the side, he began posting cover versions on TikTok. After his first viral videos of songs like Amber Run’s “I Found” and The Neighbourhood’s “Sweater Weather,” Myles Smith decided to make music his career after all, whereupon he quit his job. His first singles followed, with “Solo” landing him his first spot on the UK singles charts in late 2023. In March 2024, his debut EP “You Promised a Lifetime” was released. However, Smith celebrated his major breakthrough and international Top 20 placements on the respective singles charts with his follow-up single “Stargazing” in May of that year. His second EP, “A Minute …,” followed as early as November 2024, propelling the singer-songwriter into the UK charts as well as the Billboard 200.
