From Nightclub to Convent
After her performance, nightclub singer Deloris van Cartier accidentally witnesses a murder—and suddenly finds herself in the witness protection program. Instead of glamorous stage lights, a conservative convent awaits her, where she is supposed to hide out as a humble nun—much to the chagrin of the strict Mother Superior…
Deloris is meant to join the church choir to become part of the community, but the nuns can't hit a single note, so she takes over as choir director. Under her leadership, every service turns into an event, and the masses attract ever-larger audiences. But when they are finally invited to perform for the Pope, the gangsters catch wind of Deloris's whereabouts, putting the nuns in unexpected and great danger…
