Autumn Highlight for Garden Lovers and Plant Enthusiasts

Berliner Staudenmarkt – Berliner Herbststaudenmarkt im Botanischen Garten Berlin

On 5 and 6 September 2026, selected nurseries from across Germany will present an extensive range of perennials, shrubs, flower bulbs, herbs, and much more—much of it sustainably grown—along a picturesque 1.5-kilometre market trail winding through the Botanic Garden. Numerous horticultural and environmental organisations will provide information on nature conservation, sustainable gardening, and the use of plants in gardens. At the Botanic Garden's information stand, the Botanical Advisory Service will offer expert advice on regional plants and seeds as well as urban biodiversity. Another popular attraction is the apple identification service hosted by the Brandenburg Pomologists, where visitors can have their own apples identified.

A wide selection of food and drinks, including regional specialities, will also be available throughout the event.

Opening hours: 9:00 am–6:00 pm (the Garden remains open until 7:00 pm)
