November 9, 1918, marks the revolutionary end of the monarchy and the proclamation of the first German Republic—a decisive step toward democracy and social justice.
Following the events of 1848, revolutionaries also found their final resting place at the Cemetery of the March Martyrs in November and December 1918. We would like to commemorate them and all those who died in the 1918–19 revolution.
