Live Speaking with Karina Bjerregaard

With Music & an Activity Bike

The East Side Gallery is the longest surviving section of the Berlin Wall. In 1990, 118 artists from 21 countries left their mark on it. Our guides will take you on a tour of the open-air gallery, answering questions, sharing the stories behind the murals, and pointing out the historical traces of the former Wall.

To mark the 65th anniversary of the construction of the Wall, we’re offering a special program: In addition to our guides, Karina Bjerregaard—the artist behind the work “Himlen over Berlin” at the East Side Gallery—will be on site. Live guitar music will also provide musical accompaniment.

On Sunday, weather permitting, you can get creative with our activity bike and paint your own mural.

The event is part of the special program marking the 65th anniversary of the construction of the Berlin Wall.
