This free event, part of “Sunday in the Nikolaiviertel,” features old-fashioned children’s games for adults with children ages 1 and up.

Young and young-at-heart alike can try out games in front of the Museum Laboratory in the Nikolaiviertel this afternoon that children enjoyed a hundred years ago: walking on stilts, spinning tops, throwing wooden rings, sack races, riding a hobby horse, and many more.

A thick rope challenges small teams to a tug-of-war. Maybe the older folks will even be reminded of a childhood memory or two!
