The duo Band Practice hail from the Deutsches Theater and, before setting off on their first major tour of the USA, are popping back for one more show at the Monbijou Theatre!

 

Together with the audience, Stacey and Unter Günther explore the fear of the dark, whilst outside twilight sets in and slips into the darkness of night.

 

Through a mix of musical interludes, poetic texts and epic dance numbers, this improv show explores memories and personal fears. In doing so, they develop a completely new and unique form of clowning, skilfully balancing humour, friendship and wit.

 

The theatre duo Band Practice are Ash Willison and Lisa Ullrich. The pair create shows, characters and theatrical happenings that explore and expand the live experience of a performance. Strange, cheeky and wonderfully modern, they draw on elements of clowning, physical theatre, improvisation and music to interact with the audience in a wide variety of ways, including tech conferences, bardic serenades, exorcisms and musical showcases. With their full-length shows and cabaret formats, they have appeared at venues including the Edinburgh Fringe, Berlin Fringe, Vault Festival, the Deutsches Theater, ACUD and the Malta Festival in Poznań.
