A sound installation by Annika Kahrs
We are opening the new special exhibition at St. Nicholas Church. Our guest is artist and composer Jasmine Guffond.
What happens when a church itself begins to make sound? In her new sound installation “Chorus,” the artist transforms St. Nicholas Church into a walk-in sound body.
To kick things off, artist and composer Jasmine Guffond will activate the installation with a live set. Look forward to more program highlights and encounters surrounding the opening!
If you’d like, you can explore the sound installation beforehand from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. every hour on the hour. Later in the evening, you can also experience it again during a guided tour with Annika Kahrs.
