In the hills of Burundi, a group of displaced coltan miners forms an anti-colonialist hacker collective. From their camp in a surreal-looking electronic waste dump, they attempt to overthrow the authoritarian regime that exploits the region’s natural resources—and its people. When an intersex runaway and a fugitive coltan miner find each other through cosmic forces, their connection triggers disruptions in the overarching divine circuitry.
