Bára Gísladóttir is Composer in Residence for the 26/27 season at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and the composer of the world premiere Good Vibes Only. For the At the Movies series, she has chosen Bong Joon-ho’s Parasite.

The Kim family has hit rock bottom: father, mother, son, and daughter live in a dim, greenish basement and will take any odd job they can find. It is only when the youngest takes a job as a tutor in the Park family’s ultra-chic mansion that the Kims are drawn into the whirlwind of class warfare. With clever tricks, remarkable talent, and great team spirit, they manage to gradually get rid of the Park family’s previous servants.
