In this workshop, you’ll work together to design your own vest and discover in a playful way how personality can be expressed through colors, patterns, and shapes.
A mesh fabric becomes a creative canvas: Using colorful threads, beads, and child-safe needles, you’ll create unique designs—inspired by patterns from the Museum of Islamic Art’s collection or by your own imagination. Through knotting and embroidery, you’ll learn simple textile techniques and create a one-of-a-kind work of art that you can take home with you.

Participation fee, including admission: €15 per family (2 people), €20 per family (3 or more people)Limited number of participants. Online booking required.

Remaining tickets are available at the ticket office in the James-Simon-Galerie. The family ticket grants access to the museums on Museum Island on the same day.
