Embroidered Vests – Show Who You Are!

Mit bunten Fäden, Perlen und kindgerechten Nadeln entwickeln die Teilnehmer:innen individuelle Designs – inspiriert von der Sammlung des Museums für Islamische Kunst.

In this workshop, you’ll work together to design your own vest and discover in a playful way how personality can be expressed through colors, patterns, and shapes.

A mesh fabric becomes a creative canvas: Using colorful threads, beads, and child-safe needles, you’ll create unique designs—inspired by patterns from the Museum of Islamic Art’s collection or by your own imagination. Through knotting and embroidery, you’ll learn simple textile techniques and create a one-of-a-kind work of art that you can take home with you.
