The current main exhibition focuses on presenting key aspects of the history of the Berlin police force and criminal investigation department. The main exhibition chronologically traces the role of the police in Berlin up to the present day. With the aim of providing a comprehensive overview of Berlin’s police history, the exhibition also addresses the Cold War era between East and West in Berlin—a city divided for over 40 years—and includes the former Berlin People’s Police.
