The adaptation of the Austrian folk play, which was moved to Berlin, cemented Inge Meysel's image as a television mother. Even if she only acts here briefly as the unofficial foster mother of a boy who has taken refuge with her because his parents are at odds with each other. The footage in the eponymous city park was shot in Volkspark Jungfernheide.
