Schirin Moaiyeri: Vorbeigehen

The exhibition “Vorbeigehen” brings together the artist’s personal perspective on her surroundings. Drawing on photography and her deep love of observation and discovery, the motifs emerge from analog snapshots or cell phone photos that she captures spontaneously while out and about. When painting, the search for colors and the constant stream of new decisions lead her to look more closely and to reexperience what she has perceived. “Vorbeigehen” invites viewers to pause and consciously notice the small moments along the way—those unassuming observations that can provide a surprising amount of inspiration and new energy.
