Two-day workshop | October 17 and 18, 2026 | 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
With the development of the rules of central perspective around 1420, the Florentine architect Brunelleschi rendered an invaluable service—not least to the painters of his time. In the Gemäldegalerie, artist Birgit Bellmann and art historian Henrik Engel will explore the diverse possibilities for applying these groundbreaking new rules through hands-on exercises.
The workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced participants. All materials are provided.
