The IBA is an urban development tool designed to test ideas and set the stage for the future. Discover Berlin’s future at the Alte Feuerwache. Admission is free. Only through July 26, Thursdays through Sundays, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
About the IBA Berlin 2034–37
The International Building Exhibition Berlin 2034–37 focuses on the urban transformation of the metropolis. The goal is to develop new approaches to dealing with the existing city. This is done with a particular emphasis on climate protection, climate adaptation, and the sustainable use of urban land. The starting point for the IBA Berlin 2034–37 is the established city as it has evolved—with its buildings, infrastructure, open spaces, and the network of connections that define the metropolitan area. Within this context, “continuing to build” in all its forms will be examined from a forward-looking and nuanced perspective.
