The seasons have had a profound influence on people—and thus on the arts—throughout the centuries. Fall and winter, in particular, have shaped the visual worlds of the Old Masters in many ways.
In these tandem tours, landscape architect Ursula Müller and art historian Thomas R. Hoffmann will demonstrate how artists of past centuries depicted themes related to fall and winter in their works.
