Window Worlds

Colors begin to glow as soon as they meet the light. In this workshop, window images are created using transparent paper. Layer by layer, colorful shapes are cut from translucent paper and placed within a clear cardboard frame. Lines hold the fragments together while inside a vivid interplay of colors, forms, and overlapping layers unfolds. Like a luminous mosaic, an image emerges that is never fixed, but continues to change and draw itself through the light.

Through the interaction of material, transparency, and contrast, poetic compositions, abstract landscapes, or free color worlds take shape, finding their place directly in the window.
