How inclusive are water sports in both competitive and recreational settings? Artifacts, club histories, and athletes’ biographies shed light on inclusion and exclusion, developments, and challenges in water sports. Who can participate and under what conditions—and who cannot? Where and how does inclusion succeed? Participants will gain insights into inclusive water sports, both in the past and today. A critical look at the permanent exhibition at the Grünau Water Sports Museum asks: How inclusive is the exhibition itself? What can a museum learn from sports?
