Three-day summer holiday workshop: Tue to Thu / 11–13 August 2026 / 11.00 am to 2.00 pm

What would summer be without the lapping of the waves or a dip in the cool water? In the pictures at the Gemäldegalerie, you’ll discover stories centred on water – from fun-filled swimming adventures and sea voyages around the world to wild storms on the high seas. Afterwards, you’ll get creative yourself: you’ll design your own dream beach using real sand and bring a sea monster to life using paper, paint and your imagination!

Participation fee: 36 euros
