This guided tour for blind and visually impaired people reveals the past and architecture of Berlin's oldest preserved church building.
Berlin's Nikolaikirche offers a very special spatial impression, which is conveyed during the tour through the nave with sound samples and tactile possibilities. Building elements and objects that illustrate the history of the place are highlighted. Detailed descriptions, architectural models and tactile objects make them even more tangible.
The needs of blind and visually impaired people are at the forefront of the tour. It also provides space for questions and discussion.
