This offer guides blind and visually impaired people through the activity day at the open-air museum, which focuses on fabrics and clothing from a bygone era.
When textiles are made from natural raw materials in the medieval way, fingers can feel a lot and hands can get to grips with a variety of things. On this day of action, Christine Rieger and a guide will introduce blind and visually impaired people to spinning, weaving and dyeing. There is a lot to discover: raw sheep's wool, spun threads, woven fabric. Everything can be touched and sniffed!
Visitors of all ages can try their hand at weaving flax, hemp and wool at a hands-on station. The rope workshop also invites visitors to get hands-on and try things out. The result is a handmade rope.
