Anan Fries’ new work explores how technological innovations are changing our understanding of sex, gender and desire. “Synthetic Desire” explores the erotic potential of human-machine relationships, navigating the tension between critical reflection and playful speculation. For the fourth Tool Party at HAU, Fries & Team will be giving a workshop-style presentation offering insights into their artistic process, their research and the tools they use.In January, HAU will stage the premiere of Anan Fries’ new work.
