Melanie Roumiguière will lead a tour of the Kabinett exhibition featuring works by Dorothy Iannone and Alejandra Pombo Su. She will speak with Nóra Lukács, the exhibition’s curator, about the connections between the two artists. Melanie Roumiguière is a cultural studies scholar and curator. For eight years, she headed the visual arts division of the DAAD’s Berlin Artists-in-Residence Program, whose fellows included both Dorothy Iannone (1976) and Alejandra Pombo Su (2025/26). Among other initiatives, she spearheaded the cataloging and digitization of the program’s archive. She is currently curating Alejandra Pombo Su’s upcoming solo exhibition at the Fundación Eugenio Granell in Santiago de Compostela.
As part of the “We the People” program initiative by the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation to mark the 250th anniversary of U.S. Independence Day.
