Babelsberg Landscape Park offers breathtaking views. Situated on the picturesque banks of the Havel, the park offers spectacular views of the Glienicke Bridge and Glienicke Palace Park. Commissioned by Prince Wilhelm and Augusta in 1833, the park owes its design to the renowned garden artists Peter Joseph Lenné and Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau. The neo-Gothic palace complex is surrounded by richly decorated garden terraces, while the Pleasure Ground with ornamental shrubs, flower gardens and water features completes the picture. The park, at the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, has been maintained as a garden monument since the 1960s and the northern bank area was restored after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
