Sunday Tour—Today's Highlight...The Mediterranean House and Tree Ferns

Public Tour

Botanischer Garten

Botanischer Garten

The Mediterranean-style house, adorned with Art Nouveau elements and reminiscent of a cathedral with its two glass turrets, is undergoing renovation. Until then, there is still a little time left to explore the plants of the Mediterranean laurel and sclerophyllous forests and the maquis of the Mediterranean region. In the back of the house, you’ll learn fascinating facts about the so-called “dinosaurs of the plant world”—the tree ferns.

On this Sunday tour, you’ll experience the unique gardens on a walk through the outdoor grounds and inside the greenhouses.
