Over a pretzel, over a chat. Deutschlandfunk Kultur invites you to a live radio show from the Humboldt Forum in Berlin. Join us as we welcome a prominent guest from the worlds of culture, science, media or politics to the Mechanische Arena.

Join us for a lively discussion on the issues of our time. Chat, debate or think aloud together. Here you can experience radio up close, watch the action and join in the discussion. A lively discussion on the topics of the day, broadcast across the country, produced in Berlin’s new old centre, the Humboldt Forum.

The Berlin-based satirist, author and presenter Sarah Bosetti speaks out where others remain silent. She throws herself wholeheartedly into social debates, whether on ‘Bosetti Late Night’, in ‘Bosetti will reden!’ or on the podcast ‘Bosettis Woche’. Her book “Make Democracy Great Again! Words Against the End of the World” is a plea for the salvation of democracy. Bosetti, runner-up in the 2013 Poetry Slam team competition, has received numerous awards, including the Grimme Prize and the German Cabaret Award. We talk to her about the political situation and ask her what a “couch poet” is.
