As part of the exhibition “On to New Works! Max Slevogt, Bruno Cassirer, and Max Liebermann,” we invite you to join us in listening and immersing yourselves in the world of illustrated fairy tales. Max Slevogt was known not only as a painter but also as a passionate draftsman and illustrator who brought stories to life with his images.

In a cozy atmosphere, selected fairy tales—accompanied by Slevogt’s imaginative illustrations—will be read aloud. The richly detailed drawings transport us to enchanting worlds and show just how closely images and narratives can be intertwined.

Whether accompanied by someone or not, all visitors are warmly invited to take a seat, listen, and immerse themselves in Slevogt’s imaginative visual worlds.
