STORYTELLING CAFÉ: Memories and Photo Archives. Wilhelmsruh in Historical Photos
The Pankow Museum Archives hold numerous photographs from Wilhelmsruh, ranging from the fish-hauling event at the State Security Festival in the 1950s to the egg-and-spoon race at the folk festival in the 1980s. Most frequently, however, the photos feature men, steel, and the large factory halls of Bergmann-Borsig. Museum archivist Beate Böhnisch and BAB consultant Elena Demke have curated a selection and are eager to hear your thoughts on these historical visual records.
