Spaces as a Stage

Photography: Between Staging, Movement, and Imagination

What turns a room into a stage? The exhibition “Rooms / Stages” focuses on spaces that, in photography, are far more than mere backdrops. A diverse group of photographers stages these spaces and tells the stories that might unfold within them. The tour takes visitors from photographic stagings of spaces and images of dance to the legendary stages that Helmut Newton created in hotels, on streets, in theaters, and in unusual locations.Translated with DeepL
