The deadline for individual project funding from the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion is June 30, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. In connection with this, Tanzbüro is offering an exchange format for dance professionals.How do I describe my project and articulate my artistic practice in a funding application? In a three-hour exchange session facilitated by dramaturg Maxwell McCarthy, dance professionals will have the opportunity to reflect on their concepts together in a collegial setting.

Facilitator: Maxwell McCarthy
Maxwell McCarthy is a dramaturg for contemporary dance and lives in Berlin. Since earning his BA in Contemporary Performance Practice from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Maxwell has worked as a dancer and dance professional and has focused on production dramaturgy since 2019. He has been involved in the creation of more than 30 new works, collaborating with choreographers, theater professionals, and visual artists.
