The tour will be held in German Sign Language.
What does a form tell us? How does a sculpture speak to us? On this tour, you will experience the art of Constantin Brancusi in German Sign Language (DGS). You will see his most important works, learn about Brancusi's life and discover how his sculptures were created.Brancusi works with clear forms: round heads, elongated birds, oval eggs. His surfaces are smoothly polished and shine in the light. Bronze, marble, wood – each material has its own language. Together we will take a close look: How does a form feel when we perceive it with our eyes? Which lines draw our gaze? How do size and material affect the overall effect? The tour offers space for exchange: you can ask questions or share your impressions at any time. The offer is inclusive and barrier-free. A deaf and a hearing mediator will guide you through the exhibition in tandem.
All people who use DGS or feel more comfortable with it are welcome.
