Join us on a guided tour through the visual worlds of the islands. In “Possibilities of an Island”, discover the Scharf-Gerstenberg Collection spanning four generations. Begin your journey with the floor installation “Possibilities of an Island I” by Kavata Mbiti and, across 12 chapters, encounter various artistic approaches to engaging with reality. Let yourself be transported to idyllic settings, other times and fantastical worlds, or encounter ironic commentary on the horrific, whilst learning more about selected works.
