Through a visual presentation, Darius Ramazani takes the audience behind the scenes of his Berlin passion project, “ramazani.flasht.berlin”. He shares stories of encounters, unexpected twists, technical challenges and the small moments that often go unseen but can make all the difference.
Every month, he transforms his billboard at Stuttgarter Platz with themes that shape and move Berlin. Thought-provoking. Political. Intelligent. Sometimes challenging, sometimes subtle. Sometimes captivating, sometimes unsettling. The tighter the space becomes in our society for certain topics, the wider Ramazani opens his door. At times, he also makes the billboard available to committed initiatives and cultural projects, opening the space to a wide range of perspectives.
Ramazani creates visibility for the issues that matter to the city today. He looks into parallel worlds and does not shy away from taking a thoughtful look at political realities.
Those who know his work understand that this evening is about more than photography and images. It is about people, Berlin, stories and looking beyond the surface. An evening for anyone who enjoys asking questions, sharpening their own perspective on reality and being inspired by one of the city’s most experienced image-makers.
