5 p.m.
Queer Salsa for Beginners
Join us to discover the appeal of Queer Salsa, step by step. We’ll teach you the basic steps in an inclusive and safe environment that puts queer, trans and non-binary people at the centre. Queer Salsa is open to anyone who wants to explore dance roles beyond gender-specific expectations.
The workshop is free, no dance experience is required and you don’t need a partner.
6 p.m.
Queer Salsa for Advanced Dancers
How exactly can the rigid rules of ballroom dancing be broken down and revolutionised? Together, we’ll explore combinations for role-swapping and creative arm positions. Queer and trans people are at the centre – but everyone who wants to explore dance roles beyond gender-specific expectations is welcome.
The workshop is free of charge; you can also attend without a dance partner. Previous experience is an advantage but not essential.
