Public Neighborhood Tour: “Secret Karlshorst: Searching for Traces in the Former Soviet Restricted Area”

Karlshorst was an important command center during the Cold War. After the war ended in May 1945, it became a Soviet restricted area. The Soviet military administration, intelligence services, and military units were stationed here. Later, the Stasi and border control for the Berlin Wall were added. The tour takes you to the former sites of secret and military facilities along Zwieseler Straße, Arberstraße, Bodenmaiser Weg, and Köpenicker Allee.
