One of the best preserved Renaissance fortresses in Europe, the Julius Tower – the oldest building in Berlin, museums and exhibitions of modern art – the Citadel is a cultural location and an island of history. With its extraordinary history, it has something interesting in store for all visitors. The public guided tour of the Citadel gives insight into the eventful history of the place and takes you from the builders in the 16th century to the 21st century.

 Every first Sunday of the month, the Citadel tour is held in English.

Price info: Guided tour fee: €4.50 (plus admission)
